Okay, here are a few of my shots. I am still editing but here's what I have so far:
CW a la carte. Everything you need to talk all over the planet.

Nightfall was no problem for the CW crew. Ham radio's original digital mode works equally well in the dark.

If all the Jeeps weren't enough of a clue, this sign made sure we knew which camp we were at:

The future of amateur radio. Here's where it goes once us old farts get put out to pasture.

Hopefully there will still be trails open for these young off-roaders:

Darn.....
I am impressed .....
You guys had a great operation, and rightly, you take pride in it.
This was our second year, last year we had no clue what we was doing....
For next year, I would be happy to work with you guys and improve our operation...
One thing we have established is a very good relationship with USFS and park rangers, and we do handout info for them.
In return they stop by, even with fire trucks.
We are a NV operation, operating in CA, so we kind of fall between the chairs.....
However, a military radio historical site is a good site in my book, especially when it is visited by some 200 people over the weekend.

We made phone and CW contacts on every band from 160m through 6 meters. Conditions on this end were quite good and it was nice to see the higher bands open.
Best photo yet!

Great comment on your photo Steve of Steve and Alex.
What a FANTASTIC Photo! The photographer must have been a PRO! This picture says more about why I believe FD is such an important event then anybody could express.
WOW! You should send it off to the ARRL!

Is this all the pictures and video we have? I'm going to put together a short video clip like I did last year. Last call if you have any video or pictures you want included. Post them up.

Too bad I couldn't find a pic of the diesel generator. :( It was on a tandem axle trailer. The way its power was described to me was that it could just about run the whole town of Summerfield.

Jason,
That solar panel fit up there real nice! Great seeing you guys!
Jayson, I got your QSL card today! You spelled "Field" wrong on the front. Forgivable. BUT, you also spelled your name wrong on the back. WTF? Haha!

Well, I thought I recognized the shot.
This months QST (Dec. 2010) features the most excellent father/son pic from W6SDM's post in this thread (post#7). It's a great shot and very worthy. Congrats to Steve N7TX, and son Alex KF7KKP!!
