Not sure what the cause is but I have noticed that most late nights the forum starts to crawl - normally in the daytime the pages load about as fast as I can click the links but at night there is a noticeable (five second or longer) pause before the pages load. Just verified my internet connection speed and there doesn't seem to be a problem there:

Or maybe I'm just too impatient - makes me feel like I'm back on dial-up (ugh!)

My first thought is maybe server backups are running at night? Randy will have to chime in here. Randy? Hello? Randy?

That's kind of what I figured. Being as we are on the 'no-frills' plan it really didn't worry me too much, just wanted to make sure it wasn't something more serious.

The site is on a shared sever, So most likley other sites are running cron jobs or other CPU intensive applications at night. I had not noticed it, but 5 minutes to load a page is not slow. It is broken!

Lets all keep an eye on it. Thanks

Not five minutes, more like 10-15 seconds. Not bad in all truthfulness but not as peppy and spry as it is in the daytime.
