Hi,
So as in the title, what antenna are you using on your 4x4 ??????
I wanted put a Atas 120, but finaly: No. Is too short. I think buy a Comet UHV-6 and put it on the roof of my Grand Cherokee ZJ on a 3 magnet mount.
So, I keep all informations, to take a decision.

Currently I am running a Hustler 80m coil with an 18 inch mast on a ball mount on my front left fender with an LDG Z11 ProII tuner in-line. The combination tunes up on all bands from 10 to 80 meters and while it might not be an optimal solution it works just fine for my needs.

I have NMO mounts on both of my 4x4 rigs; I switch between a Hustler 5/8-wave base-loaded steel whip, a Larsen 1/2-wave base-loaded steel whip, a Comet SBB-1 1/4-wave and a Sti-Co Flexi-whip cut for 1/4-wave on 2M, depending on where I'm wheeling or driving and how much clearance there may be.

I use an ATAS-120 for 40m-6m and a Larsen NMO2/70 for VHF and UHF. Personally I like the short length of the ATAS, it's not overwhelming. Just about anything you use mobile is a major performance compromise, so I like antennas that are not difficult to use daily.
