I was on the old site for almost a year, so time to move on to this new one. Nice job of customizing vBulletin!
I've been licensed since 1974 and have been K1UR since getting my Extra in 1977. There really isn't much serious off roading in this part of the country (Massachusetts), but I do get a chance to use 4WD at least a couple times a year. My primary radio platform is my 1963 Land Rover Series 109 Station Wagon which I've owned for five years. It's equipped with an Icom IC706MkIIg, allowing operations on 80m through 70 cm. I also recently added a Motorola MCS 2000 for operations on 900 MHz FM. The truck is known as the "Green Bean" and it even has its own callsign: NA1GB.
My "daily driver" is a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, which is equipped for 2 meters and 900 MHz FM.
