Trip Report - Pinal Peak Easy Run

Monday myself and K7KMC and K7JCY ran up to the top of Pinal Peak. None of us had been there and it looks like a mountain top operators dream. It took about an hour or so from the turn off to make it to the top. Easy, graded road. The day was awesome, perfect weather, slight breeze. Running 50 watts up there, with a 1/2 wave on the FJ I was hitting guys with HT's in the Valley and guys in Tucson. It was pretty fun. I made 15 or so contacts in about 1/2 hour. I think I may go up there for the VHF USO party in June.
