Montana Mountain is a mountain summit in Pinal County in the state of Arizona (AZ). Montana Mountain climbs to 5,531 feet (1,685.85 meters) above sea level. Montana Mountain is located at latitude - longitude coordinates (also called lat - long coordinates or GPS coordinates) of N 33.404775 and W -111.154289.
WHEN - Sat. Aug. 14th 2010 1600 hrs (4PM)
WHERE - Meet at US60 and the Queen Valley turn off. Make the turn off of the 60 and we will be a ways down on the road.
REQUIREMENTS - 4X4 Stock Friendly
WHAT TO BRING - Drinks, Snacks and Dinner to have along the trail. Radios, binoculars, cameras, etc.
WHAT TO EXPECT - Easy drive with some moderate climbs. Stop at the summit to work simplex and grab a bite to eat. Head down to some sharp downhill switchbacks and then if we have time stop at the stone cabin at night... spooky!
Last time we met at 6 and got off the trail at midnite. So this time we should get off the trail around 10PM. From there a typical hour long drive home.
