Default Prescott Valley Repeater Coverage to Phoenix.

So... looks like our family will be packing the wagons up and headed north come June and I was wondering if I will be able to make the net from Prescott Valley. Anyone know if you can reach Mt Ord from Prescott Valley? If not, why are there no linked repeaters from Mingus MTN to the valley?

Looking foward to cooler weather in the summer!

Oh... I'm selling a boat, tent trailer and a house if anyone interested... LOL.

I think I have heard people on Mt Ord that said they were located in Prescott Valley.

I've been able to reach Mingus Mountain from Cave Creek, Scottsdale and North Phoenix. I have not tried to reach it from further south.
I have been able to reach Mt. Ord from FR42 with my mobile rig, but I cannot receive it from west of I-17. Maybe the operators in the Prescott Valley have base stations and beam antennas? Or maybe using a remote base??

Looks like a good excuse to setup my beam and a base station!
