Thread: W7AZO - Worked All States

Default W7AZO - Worked All States

Progress tracking for W7AZO WAS awards.

As of 7-1-2012, we currently have 1209 QSO's in the log. This includes contacts from FD 2010-2012, TMM 2009-2011, and DM31 2011. It seems a lot of clubs do not upload their FD logs to LOTW/eQSL. Based off the logging software that combines all 1209 QSO's, we have 49 states with Delaware being the last not worked. Maybe it's time to send cards to get our WAS totals a little higher.

LOTW - ARRL Logbook of the World
LOTW requires a 50 mile radius for WAS. I've setup 2 locations and matched the QSO's accordingly.
    TMM - 32 states confirmed.
    FD - 25 states confirmed.

    EQSL - eQSL.cc
We currently have 32 states confirmed.

Very true about FD logs. I've only got 3 or 4 confirmed out of 92.

You should think about going up the hill for CQWW or any of the major contests. Those folks upload big time.

Statistically, my total confirmation ratio for LoTW is about 30%.

Yeah, my success on LotW is about the same. Cards run over 90% confirmed, LotW somewhere around 25-30%. My DX runs a lot higher on both LotW and card confirmations than domestic. Some states took me several tries before I got them confirmed one way or the other.

I think the thing with FD logs is that they don't count for the home station unless they are within 50 miles of the home QTH, so people just don't bother.

Hey, I'm down for CQWW. I would love to put a Flex into play if we could figure out a way to keep the area free of dust.

I have seen people with much higher response rates on LotW. It depends a lot on what you are working and how many entries are sampled. In my case, I have just over 8,000 QSOs submitted over 2 years. 75% of what was submitted is outside the US.

A few more must have uploaded their FD logs. We're up to 28 states confirmed in LOTW from the FD location.

In LOTW total, we have 1202 QSO's uploaded and only 141 confirmed. 11.7%
