Hi everyone, I just happened to find this site in a Google search. I didn't know there was a such combination, I love it! I have been in off roading for some time now, and had getting my HAM license on the list to get. I've been into all types of electronics and just never got around to getting licensed.
I hope to hang around a it, and it looks like most of the people are West coast.
ADMIN: Can I get an admin to fix my username, its really bugging me that it isn't in all caps.
Guess I neglected to say anything about my rigs.
I've got an 01 Dodge Dakota and an 85 Jeep Wagoneer, my Dakota is naturally my number one truck but don't let that fool ya, its had a hard life and still looking for more, haha. Its the one I take on any longer trips, trips to Asheville NC area for example. The Jeep is just fun to drive, and isn't built for a long distance drive.
Right now I'm only on 2m sence we have a good number of repeaters in the area. The dodge has a Kenwood 271a, The jeep has a Kenwood TK-730 both only 2m, and will eventually be changed out to dual 2m/440's.
