Hello everyone,

My name is Hank and have been a ham since 1963 and hold an extra class ticket. Most of my hamming over the years has been mobile, but I have operated practically all modes at one time or another over the years, including packet, satellite, ATV and slow scan.

I have been a bit inactive for a few years, but am getting the bug to HF mobile in my Jeep Patriot 4x4. I was searching the net for antenna ideas and ran across a post on this forum by KE7KUS about HF mobile loop antennas. I have designed and built HF mobile antennas in the past so I joined the forum so I can follow his posts on the subject.

I live near Piedmont in central Oklahoma and my other main interests are hunting, shooting, motorcyle racing and aviation.
