    Hello everyone,
I'm Jason from Virginia Beach, recently retired from the Navy and I'm new to ham radio. I decided to get into ham radios because I enjoyed working with electronics and over they years I've forgotten a lot and it seem like a fun way to relearn things and get my son interested in technology. As far as offroading goes that's something I've been into for years. I drive a 2006 Jeep TJ that has been built with exploration in mind, I'm not a fan of driving in circles in some offroad park for a weekend or playing in mud pits. The Jeep's been outfitted with a 4 inch lift, 32 Inch AT tires, snorkel, winch, a Yaesu 2900R, cobra CB, and a spare tire carrier with a couple fuel/water cans. I plan to replace the 2900r with a 857d at some point and build an offroad trailer for it.
