    Glad to be aboard...

My QTH is currently Owatonna MN, although I'm originally a cheese head... GO PACKERS!

I've been 4 wheeling longer than I've been working a radio... started with my 1990 YJ,
I took my wife and son on Jeep Jamborees around the country.
The Jeep is running a 4" lift and 35" tires, added a winch and 4.56 gears and lockers myself.
A few months ago I mounted a Yeasu ftm 10R to keep with the water proof aspect of the Jeep.

My main adventure rig is a 2005 Dodge Power Wagon... basiclly stock... yeah right stock
A few mod's here and there...
When out in the deep woods I'm hauling a 1978 Bethany Pickupper camper which I have heavily modified.
Think pop-up camper mounted sideways in the bed of a pickup and you'd be pretty close to how it works.
Sleeps up to 4, but 2 really comfortable... perfect for my 14 yr old son an I to go on father/son adventures in.
I have a Kenwood V71A in tha cab and carry a Yeasu FT 817 for in the camper as a base.
I use the camper as a support rig for the John Bear Grease Sled Dog Race in winter.
The built in furnace and portapotty work out great for that event since I'm setup remote for up to 3 days.
I have a 30ft telescopic mast with a dual band Arrow antenna for the Bear Grease event, I'm also working on a 4 band HF fan dipole for field day next year.

My home base rig is a Yeasu FT897 with a few different antenna's... run a Jet Stream JTB2 for dual band use and a DX-CC for HF work. I've been playing alot lately with FL-Digi and working digital both VHF and HF bands.

Most of the off road adventures lately have been with the Midwest Overland Society out of the Twin Cities.
We have a trip planned this weekend for the north shore, working the Superior National Forest from Two Harbors north.
Our group site is here if anyone is interested... http://groups.yahoo.com/group/midwestoverlandsociety/

I go by the handle "Prybry" on some forums...(it's a long story)
