    Default Northwest Bound!

Greeting to all! I've recently come to realize there are, like myself, OFF-ROAD HAMS! Although my off-road experience primarily revolves around all things motocross over the past 4 decades, and I STILL do this silly stuff, with good set-ups in my F-350 4X4 and the camper, the amateur radio extension will be a natural thing!

    But, here's the real kicker!

I retired after 30 years as an aircraft mechanic for US Airways and now, after THREE years of being away from airliners, I'm slightly more than anxious to RE-engage my experience in the same way. Well, wouldn't you know that there's this certain aircraft manufacturer in the Pacific Northwest who is INDEED interested in what this geriatric motocrosser has to offer!

Now, remind me where it is you guys are? LOL!

Looking to be out there in the near future. I've enjoyed as a visitor over many years and certain I will be happy as a resident of Washington State!

    73!

Wow, visiting is a whole lot different than living here. Burn your shorts and tank tops, you won't need them here. Stock up on vitamin C for the 8+ months of no sun. Other than that, welcome to the Pacific Northwet. Oh BTW if you plan no doing any wheeling, pretty much everything is closing on the west side of the mountains. You will need to go east, but that is slowly closing also.
