Thank you to the group for taking me in, as it were. I do not have my truck tricked out like some of the wicked machines I see on here, but it does what I ask, so there it is. Most of Newfoundland is covered with bog (swamp to most of you), and very hard to 4-wheel on. I have a Polaris RZR 800 for that kind of ride. I am also fairly new to the amateur radio hobby as well, being licenced since 2009, but am enjoying it immensely. I work on a crude oil tanker now off Brazil, I think you call it the Merchant Marine down there; where I'm from we just call it working on the boats!! No radio onboard here, as I need an advanced licence to get a certificate to operate in Brazil, but that will come eventually.

Anyway, looking forward to being a member, and hopefully I might have something to add down the road (or log!).
