    FR41 / Table Mesa

FYI: FR41 (aka Table Mesa Rd) is closed due to flood damage between I17 and FR37. from what i can tell, it's been closed since november, and will likely be closed a while longer.

That middle section is still closed. The road crew said they could only make it in so far before giant gullies washed out the road. They said they will probably have to realign that section before they can open the road all the way through. You can check with our Cave Creek District Office for updates 480-595-3300.

    looks like it's back open.

also found a post by AZOHVC, looks like FR42 opened back up in december. i'm headed out to the lake this weekend, so i'll probably check FR42 out while i'm out there.

talked to a ranger at bartlett, FR42 is still closed, probably open this fall, but it's not going to go all the way to the lake. 479 (east approach to sheeps crossing) opened back up recently, though.

trail report on FR41 from a friend:
Btw, table mesa east is open again, and damn near paved after the dozer. High clearance 2wd would be fine in there right now.

I can't find anything specific, but found several blogs and posts of people that were on FR42 during the summer of 2016.
